So we are in another week and I have new plates to show you this week! Today's review is all about the recent Swirls and Twirls plate by Lina Nail Art Supplies that was sent to me for review by Alex from Nail-Artisan. It's full of delicate swirly images and some that you can even layer...but for some reason I couldn't get my head around those when it came to stamping them lol.

Hey guys! Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend. Mine was quite quiet really. My dad was here helping us do some work on the house and then I saw my grandparents, mum and sister on Sunday. So a nice family filled weekend!

OMG guys?! Uber Chic have a brand new plate out! The OP Art Magic plate was sent to me for review by Nail-Artisan and it is amazing. This plate has some pretty cool optical illusion images but I know what I am really excited about... all the images for us holosexuals! I had to of course do a mani right away and include holo. It would be rude not to! (sorry for all the ! I am just so pumped about this plate :D )

I'm not normally one for sheer or jelly polishes but when Barry M released their new Lolly Gloss collection I knew I had to try some! I specifically wanted to try a pond mani which is where you have layers of polish and put something in between the layers. For examples, dots, flowers, stamping etc. I chose stamping of course!

Boy am I glad it's Friday! It's only been a 4 day working week but it feels much longer. I was recently sent some water decals from Born Pretty Store and when I used this gorgeous thermal from Christina Marie Handmade UK, I knew I had to pair the two together for a tropical surprise mani!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Violet & Camouflage

Violet is the colour prompt for this weeks 40 GNAI and I think there will be a lot of different types of Violet among the other bloggers posts. Everyone's interpretation of colour is so different and I guess that's what great about these types of challenges. I had camouflage as my pattern prompt. Not sure what happened with the polish on my pinky...so lets just ignore that! 

Easter Mani - Models Own with stamping.

I hope you are all having a great Good Friday! It's been a lovely day today and even the weather has been pleasant. We went for a trip to IKEA (everyone loves IKEA right?!) and stopped off for some Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the way back. Yum Yum! I was talking to Becca, from A Certain Becca Nails, earlier this week about Easter nails and she gave me the inspiration to do these. I think she will be posting her Easter mani on Sunday so watch out for that!

I've felt in a bit of a nail funk lately then I saw Debbie from Lady and the stamp post a gorgeous double stamped mani on Instagram and I thought "hey I still haven't done double stamping yet using the same image!" so I grabbed one of my new polishes and clear stamper and came up with this.

I decided to team it with some stamping and I even recorded a video for YouTube but I can't edit the damn video on my phone app.. even after I have converted the file! Oh well, you'll just have to settle for some pretty pictures instead.

40 Great Nail art Ideas - Black and White-Tie Dye

So I was quite lazy with this weeks 40 Great Nail Art Ideas prompt. The theme was Black and White and my pattern prompt was Tie Dye. At first I thought I would try that technique where you drop polish into a cup of water and then spray it with something and it separates the polish. I think this would have worked quite well for a tie dye effect but to be honest I've just been so busy with things at home so I stuck to what I know and stamped!

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness mani - ILNP Charmingly Purple

This month is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and I am taking part in a challenge on Instagram to raise awareness for this awful type of Cancer. Jayne from Starryeyed83 and Debbie from Ladyandthe_stamp are the organisers of this challenge and each week there is a new prompt. There are no rules other than to use purple! The first prompt for the 1st, which I know was yesterday, was Hearts and Love.
