So today is my last 40 GNAI post. I've really enjoyed this challenge over the last year as it's made me try things I wouldn't normally do. Hopefully there will be a new one starting soon but we'll see! Today's post is very Autumnal with earth colours and I had to chose from a few different patterns and I went with tartan. I went through a bit of a tartan phase last year and I still love it! This prompt gave me the perfect opportunity to show you plate ND112 from Nicole Diary.

40 GNAI - Red, yellow and green - Half and half - Nicole Diary review
Today I have my penultimate post of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and I will be so sad when it ends in a few weeks time! I have teamed this post with a review of a stamping plate that was sent to me by Nicole Diary. The colour prompt was red, yellow and green and my pattern was half and half.

40 GNAI - Peach and Lemon - Gradient
This week's instalment of 40 GNAI is a bit delayed due to my Uber Chic review that I had to post on Friday. If you haven't checked it out then I seriously think you should! anyway, back to the task at hand! This week's theme was peach or lemon and I had to do a gradient. So I actually used both colours and did a stamping gradient over a gradient.

40 GNAI - silver and yellow fluid lines
It's finally Friday and I have a quick 40 GNAI post to show you today. The colour theme was silver and yellow I had to do fluid lines. I am rubbish at free hand so luckily I found a stamping image that could work.

40 GNAI - Nude + colour - Fish braid- Uber chic Nautical review
Another Friday and another 40 Great nail art ideas post. This weeks prompt for me was a fish braid design! I've never done one of these before and I've always wanted to try but I didn't really think the original type fish braid would work with nude. So I went for the stencil version and decided to make it harder for myself as I didn't actually have any stencils! I attempted to make the design from straight line vinyls. I don't think I did too bad did I?

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pink and Aqua - Fan Brush
Yey it's Friday!!! I think that's how most of my Friday post start haha! I'm back with another challenge from 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and this week I had to use a fan brush with pink and aqua.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Coral and White - Embellishments
Happy Friday guys! I'm back with yet another instalment of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and this weeks colour prompt is coral and white. For my pattern prompt I had to use something 3d or embellishments. I don't really use any embellishments but I found a few things in my stash!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Mint and dotting tools
This weeks prompt wasn't a great one for me so this is just a quick post. This was my third attempt at a mani! It was a tricky one as my pattern was dotting tools. Last week I had dots so I had to do something different this week.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Hot pink dots
Today's mani reminds me of when people go to raves and they put different coloured dots around their eyes and faces so they glow under the rave lights. I hope you guys know what I mean! My mani would have needed a few extra colours for a rave but the colour prompt for this weeks 40 Great Nail Art Ideas was just the one, hot pink.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Neon Decals
Today's 40 Great Nail Art Ideas is all about neons! Now I know what some of you may be thinking...my challenge is for decals but the image above is a nail vinyl, but I applied them using the decal method so it counts :) I always tend to struggle with vinyls, I think I must apply them too hard to my nail as when I have painted over them and come to remove them, they pull up bits of my base colour! I've seen a few videos of people using them as decals so I thought I would give it a go and I was very impressed.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 shades of red/orange and Circles
Time for another instalment of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas. I wasn't keen on this mani I came up with. The colour theme was 3 shades of red/orange and I had circles for my pattern. I think my idea was good but the colours didn't really go together.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas Pink and Lilac
So I went a bit wrong with this week's 40 Great Nail Art ideas post. I actually did this weeks mani twice! I stamped first time using a lilac stamping polish but for some reason didn't think about what my pattern prompt was and stamped something random. When I realised my pattern should have been chevrons, I re-did my mani and completely forgot the colour theme and stamped using a polish with Violet in the name! I think over this base it works as a shade of lilac as it's such a bright pink.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Violet & Camouflage
Violet is the colour prompt for this weeks 40 GNAI and I think there will be a lot of different types of Violet among the other bloggers posts. Everyone's interpretation of colour is so different and I guess that's what great about these types of challenges. I had camouflage as my pattern prompt. Not sure what happened with the polish on my pinky...so lets just ignore that!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 shades of green - Brush Stroke
I'm a bit late with tonight's post. Partly because I've had a rubbish week and partly because I don't like this mani, I really am not a green fan. 40 Great Nail Art Ideas is all about green this week and I had brush Stoke as my pattern. Also, as I've come to write this post I've realised there was a typo on my schedule and I had this weeks theme as just green, but turns out it's 3 shades of green! Oh well, it was doomed from the start anyway lol.

40 Great Nail Ideas: Pastel - Aztec
I thought this weeks challenge would be an easy one, pastel and aztec. I had something in mind so I tried it and instantly hated it! Thankfully I found the time to re-do and I much preferred the second version. Have you ever had that happen where what you saw in your head looked amazing but just failed so badly on your nails?!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Turquoise or Aqua - Zig Zag
This weeks theme for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas was just made for me...Aqua or Turquoise! If you didn't already know, blue is my favourite colour, especially turquoise and teal.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 Shades of Purple - Waterfall
*This post contains previous press samples
I have a quick 40 Great Nail Art Ideas post to share with you today, which is 3 shades of purple. I've not been very well this week and left this mani a bit late. I wasn't too sure what to do with my prompt, waterfall, other than the typical waterfall mani you see these days.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pale blue base -Water colour
I'm back today with another theme from Crumpets Nail Tarts and this week the colour is pale blue and my pattern is water colour. For a long time now I've wanted to try out Nimbus nails which was a technique The Nailasaurus came up with, and this was the perfect opportunity.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Water marble and Glitter topper
I don't tend to do water marbles often as I'm not very good at them but this weeks Crumpets Nails Tarts theme was glitter topper/flakie and my pattern prompt was water spotting/water marble. So I gave water marbling another try but used a different technique.
