Meebox Namaste swatches and review

Happy Friday all! Today on the blog is a review of the January Meebox, Namaste. A box all about tranquillity, peace and a bit of pampering after the Christmas period. We had a bunch of goodies this time round including lots of nail care items and polishes of course. Lets take a closer look at the items.

We have 3 nails polishes, some nail scissors, a hand butter, a cuticle butter and a nail treatment. I stupidly forgot to take separate images of the nail care items and only just realised upon writing this post...doh! So I'll just run through them now.

The nail scissors are from a company called The Vintage Cosmetics Company and they are so cute! They are a lovely rose gold colour and are very handy for keeping in your bag incase of emergencies.

Cuccio Lemongrass and Lavender hand butter smells absolutely gorgeous and it leaves your hands so soft.

Soap Dodger is a great UK indie and they also make fab nail and hand care items so I'm very happy to see Kat's Cuticle Balm in this box. Another great item for the handbag and doesn't leave any greasy residue on the fingers.

Leighton Denny Hydra Flex Serum is a lovely addition to this box. It is specifically meant for dry brittle nails, which luckily mine aren't! I did use it for a nail care video and it smelt lovely and would be great to add to your nail care routine if you had issues with brittle nails.

I didn't actually create a nail art look with the polishes this month but I did create a quick video on my Instagram channel showing me using the nail care items instead.

Now onto the polishes!! Cuccio Crush in Lake Como is a lovely pink nude which would be perfect for french manis. Swatch is three coats.

Zoya Lake is described as a softened blue. It's a very delicate shade and I was very impressed that it was opaque n two coats. Just make sue to check the wand when using Zoya polishes as I have found that excess polish likes to hide there...waiting to drip onto your nail!

Last of the polishes is Stone from Nailberry. I've seen this brand before in Meebox and been very impressed by it. The application is brilliant and the brush itself is a pleasure to use! It's curved at the bottom to make it easier to paint around your cuticle area. This gorgeous dark grey is two coats.

I think the ladies at Meebox hit off the year to a great start with all these items!

Nail Scissors - £7.50
Cuccio Hand Butter - £4.99
Lake - £9.95
Stone - £13.50

All these items add up to a whopping £58 , including £5.00 postage. Now that's great value for money if you ask me. This box was £20.00 from Meebox! If you like nail polish and enjoy a surprise then you definitely need to sign up for this box. It costs £20 per month or if you sign up for three months up front it works out to be £18 per month. The theme gets announced on the 1st of every month and your box is usually shipped out on the 22nd by Royal Mail and it's tracked too!

Don't forget to check out Meebox on their social media below.

Bye for now x
