Miss_Sock Guest Post - Space Unicorn

Hey guys! So I was on holiday last week but you won't have known as I scheduled my posts to publish while I was away :) Normally people have guest posts while they are away but I did it a bit differently. This week I have two guest post while I get back into the swing of things after my lovely holiday to Tenerife, but more on that soon! Today's post is by the lovely Jen from Miss_Sock.

Hi guys, Sock here!
So the lovely Bethany kindly invited me to guest post on her blog and of course I jumped at the chance!  I wanted to do something fun, but living up to all the wonderful designs that Bethany has created – so I settled on these super cute watermarbled and reverse stamped Space Unicorn nails!

Model's Own Soft Pop watermarble - Uber Chic stamping

I am loving the Models Own Soft Pop collection, especially for watermarbling. I met Rebecca from Baby Mama Nails last month and we had cocktails and then decided to go shopping! So we ended up in a Models Own Bottle shop and I got the full Soft Pop collection :)

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Water marble and Glitter topper

I don't tend to do water marbles often as I'm not very good at them but this weeks Crumpets Nails Tarts theme was glitter topper/flakie and my pattern prompt was water spotting/water marble. So I gave water marbling another try but used a different technique.

Chevron Water Marble Mani

The theme for week three of the Weekly Nail Art Challenge on Instrgram for April was Pastel Chevrons. This is the first time I have wrote about my mani for the WNAC but I loved this so much I just wanted to share it with you guys.

My First Successful Water Marble

Wooooo...I have successfully done a water marble! I first tried a water marble about 2 years ago when I was just getting obsessed with nails... it did not go well. I couldn't get the polish to anchor to the sides of my glass so I couldn't draw any nice design in the polish and the polish I had was, to put it politely, crap! So now I have better products I thought I would give it a second shot and hallelujah it worked!
