Spooky Halloween nails



Happy Halloween everyone! Are you doing anything spooky tonight? A bit of trick or treating perhaps? I'm not doing anything as I'm too old for trick or treating, I currently don't have any kids, and I don't think my dog Maddie would appreciate being dressed up and walking the streets haha!

So I'm just joining in with a spooky mani inspired by Claire Estelle on Instagram. I absolutely loved the colours she used in this mani so I had to try recreate it.

This week's instalment of 40 GNAI is a bit delayed due to my Uber Chic review that I had to post on Friday. If you haven't checked it out then I seriously think you should! anyway, back to the task at hand! This week's theme was peach or lemon and I had to do a gradient. So I actually used both colours and did a stamping gradient over a gradient.

Gene Wilder sadly passed away and I just had to pay tribute to him. I don't know many of his films but there is one that was a massive part of my childhood, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.

Happy Friday guys! I'm back with yet another instalment of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and this weeks colour prompt is coral and white. For my pattern prompt I had to use something 3d or embellishments. I don't really use any embellishments but I found a few things in my stash!  

40 Great Nail Art Ideas Pink and Lilac

So I went a bit wrong with this week's 40 Great Nail Art ideas post. I actually did this weeks mani twice! I stamped first time using a lilac stamping polish but for some reason didn't think about what my pattern prompt was and stamped something random. When I realised my pattern should have been chevrons, I re-did my mani and completely forgot the colour theme and stamped using a polish with Violet in the name! I think over this base it works as a shade of lilac as it's such a bright pink.

I hope you are all having a great Good Friday! It's been a lovely day today and even the weather has been pleasant. We went for a trip to IKEA (everyone loves IKEA right?!) and stopped off for some Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the way back. Yum Yum! I was talking to Becca, from A Certain Becca Nails, earlier this week about Easter nails and she gave me the inspiration to do these. I think she will be posting her Easter mani on Sunday so watch out for that!

Caviar Wishes and Keanu Reeves Dreams with double stamping

I've felt in a bit of a nail funk lately then I saw Debbie from Lady and the stamp post a gorgeous double stamped mani on Instagram and I thought "hey I still haven't done double stamping yet using the same image!" so I grabbed one of my new polishes and clear stamper and came up with this.
