Hi guys. Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was a busy one! Christmas shopping, Christmas market, hot chocolate and marshmallows...but I still don't feel Christmassy yet :( I haven't even put our dec's up yet and normally I'm dying to put them up on the 1st! Hopefully I will start to feel festive soon. Today's nails aren't even helping but I do love them!

It's full of the classic designs like geometric pattern but then it also has some awesome layering images like the gems on the first plate..you just know I had to use them!

Today's review is all about the recent Swirls and Twirls plate by Lina Nail Art Supplies that was sent to me for review by Alex from Nail-Artisan. It's full of delicate swirly images and some that you can even layer...but for some reason I couldn't get my head around those when it came to stamping them lol.

Spooky Halloween nails



Happy Halloween everyone! Are you doing anything spooky tonight? A bit of trick or treating perhaps? I'm not doing anything as I'm too old for trick or treating, I currently don't have any kids, and I don't think my dog Maddie would appreciate being dressed up and walking the streets haha!

So I'm just joining in with a spooky mani inspired by Claire Estelle on Instagram. I absolutely loved the colours she used in this mani so I had to try recreate it.

I don't actually have neons that would have been suitable for the pastels I wanted to use so I kept it simple with similar colours.

We all know a dotticure is a nice simple mani to do but it's very easy and simple to do one with this plate!

Nailing Mental Health

I've gone all green for today's post guys and it's for a good cause! On the 2nd of April, Guinness book of world records have accepted a bid to smash a world record down in London. The record is to paint over 6078 peoples nails in the colour green, to mark the 6078 people that lost their battle in the UK and ROI against a mental illness in 2015. The mastermind behind this all is a lady called Stephanie Staunton. She is a professional manicurist and this is a very personal venture for her. Stephanie is hoping, along with 350 other manicurists, that they will raise £30k for MIND and for Nailing Mental Health.

Costa cup inspired Christmas mani

I can't believe it's Christmas day this Sunday?! It's seems to have just appeared and I don't feel like I've done enough Christmas nails..are you sick of Christmas designs yet? My partner and I got a Costa a few weeks back and it was a take out (I had an orange hot chocolate-yum!) and I just had to keep the cup to recreate it!
