This weeks theme for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas was just made for me...Aqua or Turquoise! If you didn't already know, blue is my favourite colour, especially turquoise and teal.
For my base I used two coats of the gorgeous Turquoise Sea from Models Own. I actually won this in a recent competition on Instagram, along with another 9 polishes! I was so chuffed as I only have about three Models Own polishes.
My pattern prompt was zig zag and I searched high and low through my nail stuff as I'm sure I had some zig zag nail vinyls but could I find them...no! So I stuck to what I know and stamped. I recently got a couple of the holos from Esmaltes Da Kelly's Nebula collection and one of them was Caranguejo. They are fab for stamping!
I used Uber Chic plate 2-01. I was also recently sent a Crystal Clear stamper from Alex at Nail-Artisan. It is a clear jelly stamper but the barrel is actually clear too which makes placement a lot easier. It's also quite squishy too and I did the whole mani using it. As you can see it stamped beautifully. I will be doing a full review of it very soon.
