Wings RockNailStar vinyls - Nail-Artisan review

It has been such a nice change to play with nail vinyls! The third and final RockNailStar vinyl pack that Alex from Nail-Artisan sent me was Wings. For this post I decided to use the vinyls in two different ways just to show you that you can use them differently.

In this mani I decided to use the insert of one of the designs and use it as a sticker. I placed it over Raspberry Smoothie from Parrot Polish and sealed in with two layers of top coat.

On my other nails I created a subtle glitter fade using this lovely gold jelly glitter polish. It was sent to me for review by Lush Nails UK so will be featured in a swatch post soon.

In this mani I used the larger wing design. The base colour is Chasing a Unicorn from Colors By Larowe. Once dry I added a fast dry top coat and left that for 20 minutes. Then I applied the nail vinyls. I found it tricky to place this particular design on my point finger but that is down to my nail being quite curved on the left side.

I sponged Young Turks over the top of the vinyls and then peeled. I did get a bit of polish bleed on my point finger but like I saw that was due to my curved nail. As I had applied a top coat prior to the vinyls, I managed to get a fine brush and clean up the excess and I bet you can't even tell where the polish bled?! I added a feather from the Uber Chic Fabulous Feathers plate to my ring finger.

I have actually really enjoyed reviewing all these vinyls as they are not a nail art technique I normally go for. They have been so great to use and certainly make me want to try more. This pack is only £1.95 from Nail-Artisan which is great value!

Bonus content! I have a YouTube video for my glitter fade mani with the wing vinyls!

What do you think of my manis? Do you like vinyls?

Bye for now x
