The Edge Annika Nail Polish - Swatches, review and nail art

The lovely guys down at The Edge Nails contacted me again to see if I would do another review for them. Click here to see my previous review which was more gel polish. Today's post is about their new range of nail polish called Annika. They sent me four colours to try out and I even did a nail art look with a few of them!

Romance is my first swatch today and is a gorgeous classic red! I did two coats for this swatch and it could really do with a third as there is a visible nail line which is probably due to it being more of a crelly type polish than a pure creme. That being said, it had a lovely formula and dried nice and glossy. No top coat added.

Clean Slate is just the perfect mid grey! I think everyone needs a basic grey in their collection and this would be it. Nicely opaque in two coats. No top coat added.

I also personally struggle with nude colours as I'm not really a nude lover but I really did like Cafe Au Lait. It's a beautiful classic nude. I was really amazed that this only needed two coats to gain opacity! No top coat added.

Last swatch is Natural Beauty which is a really nice pinky nude. This is only two coats and it would be perfect for a french tip mani. No top coat added.

So I decided to attempt a Halloween mani with a few of the colours. I used Clean slate and Romance as part of my spooky story mani. Lady and the stamp from instagram did some really cool Halloween story manis last year so I wanted to give it a go.
Dracula decided to leave his spooky castle into the night, in search of his next meal. He transformed under the moon into a bat to fly off to find the nearest source of blood! okay, okay I'm rubbish at telling stories but you get the idea haha!

The polished come with a square detachable lid and under is, is cylinder handle so it's much easier to use. The bottle hold 11ml and are priced really well at £3.50 each (plus VAT £4.20).

There are 30 colours in total from the Annika range and you can get 20% off your first order with the code WELCOME20. So what are you waiting for...Go check them out!

Which is your favourite colour? I think mine has to be Clean Slate!

Bye for now x
