Glitter Baby Nails swatches, review and nail art

I have some polishes to share with you from a new UK indie, Glitter Baby Nails. Emily, who owns the shop, sent me these four polishes to swatch and review. Her polishes are 5 free, cruelty free and vegan friendly which is brilliant! I was really impressed with them so keep reading for swatches and nail art!

The first swatch is this beautiful classic nude creme called Baby. Not sure if it was just the lightly in my room but it seemed to have a really subtle pearlescent finish to it. My swatch was three thin coats and no top coat but you could get away with two.

Next up is Girls Night and it's such a yummy raspberry pink with pink and silver glitter! It has more of a jelly type consistency but I only had to apply two coats to gain full opacity. I would recommend two layers of top coat for this type of polish.

Darling is a beautiful grey toned lilac and it's one of my favourite polishes that Emily sent me! It's just such a pretty and elegant colour. As with Baby, you could get away with two coats but I added a third as I did them very thin. No top coat added.

I saved my favourite for last....Barbie. Barbie is a stunning pink jelly base that has a pink and white shimmer and they create a gorgeous blue flash finish! It's not easily seen on the pictures but you can in real life. This was nearly a one coated but I did two. No top coat added.

So I did a little nail art with three of the colours;Girls Night, Darling and Barbie. It was a friend's birthday on Instagram and I did these girly nails for them! As you can see from the ring finger, they gradient really nicely and I add Girls Night to a decal for my pointer. All the images are from Uber Chic plate 6-01.

I was really really impressed with these polishes. They all have great coverage, lovely application and the colours are beautiful. Drying time is probably about average, they aren't fast but they aren't slow.
I also love the bottle shape! These are 10ml bottles but she has also started making 5ml bottles too because use nail addicts can never finish a 10ml bottle haha! The 10ml bottles retail for as little as £3.00 which is great value in my books.

If you decide to check out Glitter Baby Nails and want to buy something, make sure to use my code bnailed10 for 10% off at the checkout! This code will last quite a while I think too which is good :)

Make sure to check out Emily's gorgeous polishes at the links below.

What do you think of these polishes? Would you buy them?

Bye for now x
