Woodland Chic by Uber Chic - Nail-Artisan review

Long time no write guys!!! Sorry that I've not been around but if you follow my Instagram you'll already know why. We had a burst pipe at our home on the 2nd of March so life has been a bit hectic and all over the place since then. We are in temporary rented accommodation while our house is being fixed. I've recently got all my lighting equipment back, as all our electrical had to be PAT tested to ensure they hadn't been affected! We don't have our other items back yet but the company have been very good in rushing through testing of my lamps and the OH's PS4...you know..the important things haha!

Anyway, enough of my life story and on to today's review. I have the new Woodland Chic plate by Uber Chic from Nail-Artisan to show you.

How adorable is this plate. We've got everything from layers trees and feathers to bears and foxes wearing scarfs. What more could you want?! The manis you can make with this plate are just endless.

I kept my first mani quite simple as this image caught my eye. It reminded me of hedgehog spikes! So I stamped the cute little hedgehog on my nail. I stamped him, along with the other image, in Hit The Bottle As Black As Night. Then I coloured in his body with Virago Disrobed.

The base colour on my nails is Bare which is also from Virago.

I was in love with this mani when I did it and I'm so glad I used OPI Nail Envy as my base rather than a peel off base, so it lasted all week! It really reminded me of more of an African sunset rather than the woodlands though lol. I did a gradient for the background using:
Models Own - Beach Hut
NCLA - Back To Black
NCLA - Ask The Magic 8 Ball (base for gradient)

Then I stamped all the images using As Black As Night. With the sun I used my Mitty Minty 0 brush and coloured it in using a mixture of Colour Alike Sunshine and Powder Perfect Orange. I wanted a burnt orangey looking sun as if it was just setting in the night sky.

If you liked Woodland Chic by Uber Chic you can get it from Nail-Artisan for only £12.75. I really loved it and the images are so cute and versatile

Go follow Nail-Artisan on social media to keep upto date with all the new products.

Bye for now x
