Movember mani - IZ Beauty swatch, nail art and review

Us girls can't exactly grow a 'stache for Movember but we can certainly put them on our nails to help the cause! I was contacted by the Lovely guys at IZ Beauty to see if I would like to help them get behind the cause of the Movember Foundation. Every November, the Movember Foundation ask men to grow a moustache to help raise awareness for men's health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, metal health and suicide prevention. So they sent me this amazing little package to make a man-tastic mani!

So this is how I received the items! I was actually blown way with how great this all looks. The box is such great quality and I'm sure I will reuse it for something. First there was a layer with the moustache sticker decals and then I lifted that layer up, and then the polishes appeared!

Morning Mist is a really nice pale grey. I applied 3 coats to gain this opacity. It was a bit more difficult painting with a smaller brush but the finish was really nice after 3 layers. I added a layer of Get Plumed top coat for the swatch.

As you can see I used the moustache decals on two of my nails. They were just stickers that you peel off the backing paper but they are very delicate :( I broke a few in the process!

To make the mani a bit different I took inspiration from the matte and shiny lid. I applied Barry M Black Forest to my ring finger and on my Uber mat I applied some straight line vinyls. I applied the black over them and peeled them up right away. Once dry I peeled up the polish lines one by one, flipped them over and applied the shiny tacky side to my nail, which then means you have the matte side facing upwards!

I also added a very important message on my middle finger, from Uber Chic plate 3-01 and that is to never face your fears alone. So many men die from prostate cancer, testicular cancer, metal health and suicide. If we all talked more about it, it would help spread awareness and not as many would be taken way by. Don't be ashamed to talk to anyone about anything <3

What did you think to my mani? Have you helped raise awareness for this great cause?

Bye for now x
