Hey guys and congrats for making through another January week! Today I have swatches and nail art to show you from the December Meebox, Holo Wonderland. A bit later than I would normally post but the original box got damaged in transit :( however, the amazing ladies at Meebox sent a new box....yey!!
As you can see this box was packed with lovely holo goodies. We have 3 holo polishes, nail vinyls, cracked ice mylar, rhinestones and cuticle oil.
Let's get into the swatches! First up is the stunning Cosmic Fate by Color Club. A fabulous burnt orange linear holo which is opaque in two coats. The Color Club holo polishes are just fab to use!
I managed to get a direct sunlight shot of this polish and damn.... Look at that holo!
Next up is a homegrown indie and I was very excited about this one as I've not had chance to try it yet. Loyalty, Loyalty, Loyalty by Prism Polish is a beautiful deep blue with scatted holo. It's opaque in two coats. I really loved this and the formula was great!
Last but certainly not least is Carnation Lily Lily Rose by A England. This is a gorgeous silver-grey linear holo that's opaque in two coats. The A England polishes are just amazing and I definitely want more!
In the box this month was some cinnamon apple scented cuticle oil by a company called Naf Stuff. It comes in a handy twist up pen. It smells lovely and dries really quick.
I tried applying the Snowflake Cracked Ice Myler from Naio Nails over Cosmic Fate but I just couldn't get them to lay flat! I even applied Yellow Stopper over Cosmic Fate to give the nail a sticky layer I hope that they would lay flat but nope!! I don't think this stuff is for me.
For my main nail art mani I used Loyalty, Loyalty, Loyalty and Carnation Lily Lily Rose. I applied some snowflakes from Caution Vinyls over the blue nails and added some of the rhinestones to the middle of some snowflakes. I also attempted a blinky for the first time! I think it came out pretty well, but I don't think it's for me.
