Hey guys. Hope you've all had a great week! I have a review today of a new Uber Chic plate and a re-released plate, sent to me by Nail-Artisan. The Mother's Day plate and Yay Spring!. I did a mani each with these plates and I love them!
The Mother's Day plate is a cute mini one with lovely words for your Mom or Mum is my case lol.
Yay Spring! was originally released last year but it's back now and I finally have it! Such adorable images!
For my first mani I used the Mother's Day plate....yes yes I know Mother's day in the UK was a few weeks ago but I didn't get the plates until after lol! Therefore, my mani is more of a mum appreciation one! I went with the only Mum image too on the plate, as I am from the UK I don't say Mom, so it's nice that Uber Chic added mum to the plate. The base coat is Apply Blossom from For Your Nail Only and I coloured in the decals with Sitting Pretty from Roxanne Campbell. I went with a green base as it's my mum's favourite colour!
You know when you do a mani and you are actually so pleased and proud of it and you love it so much...well this was one of those! I used Yay Spring! to create this design and it came out just how I wanted it to. I love the floral images framing my fingers and how cute is Mr.Bunny with his specs?! I didn't plan on adding the green grass until I had finished all the stamping and then I just felt it needed something extra, and I think it finished the design off nicely.
I also used thermal polishes for the base coat, flowers and the leaves. So it's almost like a different mani when I'm warm!
I used quite a few colours for this mani so I'll list them here.
