'Ard as Nails, by Soap Dodger, have been shut for a while but they will reopen this Friday with a new look website so make sure you check them out.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Coral and White - Embellishments

Happy Friday guys! I'm back with yet another instalment of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and this weeks colour prompt is coral and white. For my pattern prompt I had to use something 3d or embellishments. I don't really use any embellishments but I found a few things in my stash!

Diabolical Nail Varnish - Firebox.com swatches and review

Are you a fan of The Grand Budapest Hotel film? If so you are going to love this post. Firebox.com reached out to me and asked me if I would like to review their Diabolical Nail Varnish. This little box is inspired by the film, and although I've not actually seen it myself, I just found the names of these polishes so intriguing! These polishes are 5 free and vegan friendly.

Rainbow Roses - Pretty Serious and Uber chic

There has been a few incidents reported on the news this week that are truly horrendous. One of them was the terrible shooting in Orlando. I did these nails on Sunday and didn't actually hear about the sad new until Monday. It seems I live under a rock these days. I wasn't going to share this mani yet but there's a group of us on Facebook, Rainbow Pride Nails, and we are sharing our rainbow nails to pay tribute to those affected by the shooting.

Simply Nailogical inspired holo galaxy mani

Hope you all had a great weekend. I went to a BBQ on Saturday as it was my partner's brother's 40th birthday! It was a lovely day with all the family and the rain held off until we had finished the BBQ. Lucky or what! I took part in a group theme by Dressed Up In Polish recently which was a Galaxy theme. I had never done a galaxy mani before so I went for it and I'm super impressed with what I did!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Mint and dotting tools

This weeks prompt wasn't a great one for me so this is just a quick post. This was my third attempt at a mani! It was a tricky one as my pattern was dotting tools. Last week I had dots so I had to do something different this week.

Neon Gradient with China Glaze and Uber Chic

I really am digging the new Lite Brites collection from China Glaze! So much so that I bought another polish from the collection recently and then used them all in this mani.

Stamped pond mani -Barry M Lolly Gloss

I'm not normally one for sheer or jelly polishes but when Barry M released their new Lolly Gloss collection I knew I had to try some! I specifically wanted to try a pond mani which is where you have layers of polish and put something in between the layers. For examples, dots, flowers, stamping etc. I chose stamping of course!

'Ard As Nails #Hashtag collection - swatches and review

*Picture Heavy

Evening guys. I hope you had a great bank holiday weekend. I got a few jobs at home done including weeding the back garden. Don't you just hate weeds?! It seems like you get rid of them one week and they are back the next! I am not green fingered at all so I'll stick to what I know..doing my nails! I have the wonderful #Hashtag collection to show you today from 'Ard As Nails. I was super happy when the lovely Kat contacted me about reviewing this collection and she was kind enough to include some of her new cuticle oil. Let's see some swatches!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Hot pink dots

Today's mani reminds me of when people go to raves and they put different coloured dots around their eyes and faces so they glow under the rave lights. I hope you guys know what I mean! My mani would have needed a few extra colours for a rave but the colour prompt for this weeks 40 Great Nail Art Ideas was just the one, hot pink.

Type the Hype recently got in touch with me about reviewing the Pink Gellac starter kit. I had seen this brand a lot on a blog that I follow called Chickettes. I've been intrigued by it before so I said yes.

What I like about Blue - Holo stamping gradient

I am totally loving China glaze at the moment. I recently picked up a few of the Lite Brites collection and then I saw some more at TK Maxx and then ordered some more from Nail Polish Direct..So yeah it's safe to say I've added a few more to my collection! Today's post is a holo stamping gradient over What I like about blue.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Neon Decals

Today's 40 Great Nail Art Ideas is all about neons! Now I know what some of you may be thinking...my challenge is for decals but the image above is a nail vinyl, but I applied them using the decal method so it counts :) I always tend to struggle with vinyls, I think I must apply them too hard to my nail as when I have painted over them and come to remove them, they pull up bits of my base colour! I've seen a few videos of people using them as decals so I thought I would give it a go and I was very impressed.

Work appropriate nail art - Nails Inc and Uber Chic

My work is pretty good when it comes to uniform and such. We can wear what we wan as long as it's smart. They also don't have restrictions on what we can wear on our nails which is awesome for me! I went on a customer visit recently and thought I should tone down the nails so I went for something a bit more work appropriate.

Tropical Surprise mani - BPS review

Boy am I glad it's Friday! It's only been a 4 day working week but it feels much longer. I was recently sent some water decals from Born Pretty Store and when I used this gorgeous thermal from Christina Marie Handmade UK, I knew I had to pair the two together for a tropical surprise mani!

I don't know about you guys but I had such a busy bank holiday weekend I was glad to have the extra day off, which means it's only a 4 day week...yey!! CM Handmade is a UK indie that is run by two sisters, Anna Christina and Shelley Marie, who make and sell nail polish, candles and gifts. Their polishes are 5 free and cruelty free. 40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 shades of red/orange and Circles

Time for another instalment of 40 Great Nail Art Ideas. I wasn't keen on this mani I came up with. The colour theme was 3 shades of red/orange and I had circles for my pattern. I think my idea was good but the colours didn't really go together.
