Anniversary nails - Uber Chic and CBL Stamping polish.

Last week my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary. We aren't married but we do like to celebrate when we first met and this year was our 9th year together. I have done a few themed manis recently so I had to do a mani for this occasion.

I hope you are all having a great Good Friday! It's been a lovely day today and even the weather has been pleasant. We went for a trip to IKEA (everyone loves IKEA right?!) and stopped off for some Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the way back. Yum Yum! I was talking to Becca, from A Certain Becca Nails, earlier this week about Easter nails and she gave me the inspiration to do these. I think she will be posting her Easter mani on Sunday so watch out for that!

CBL Young Turks with Uber Chic - birthday nails!

It was my birthday on Saturday. I had a lovely day and got some nice presents which even included a few nail bits. I don't normally get nail related items as presents, as people are always worried that I might already have it! For my birthday nails I chose one of my favourite colours and stamped some fun party images over it.

I'm a bit late with tonight's post. Partly because I've had a rubbish week and partly because I don't like this mani, I really am not a green fan. 40 Great Nail Art Ideas is all about green this week and I had brush Stoke as my pattern. Also, as I've come to write this post I've realised there was a typo on my schedule and I had this weeks theme as just green, but turns out it's 3 shades of green! Oh well, it was doomed from the start anyway lol.

I thought this weeks challenge would be an easy one, pastel and aztec. I had something in mind so I tried it and instantly hated it! Thankfully I found the time to re-do and I much preferred the second version. Have you ever had that happen where what you saw in your head looked amazing but just failed so badly on your nails?!

I had been lusting after Bear Pawlish Wintermint since Christmas time and I got it recently and it did not disappoint. I decided to team it with some stamping and I even recorded a video for YouTube but I can't edit the damn video on my phone app.. even after I have converted the file! Oh well, you'll just have to settle for some pretty pictures instead.

I totally forgot that yesterday was my second year blogiversary! I've been so busy at home that it just slipped my mind.
