HJ Manicure Swatches and Review

I have a new brand on the blog today. This is HJ manicure which is a luxurious nail care range that consists of 16 shades created by Helen J without any toxins. The polish is cruelty free, vegan friendly and 5 free. Which means it doesn't contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP or Camphor. I was super impressed with these polishes and you'll see why!
All polishes are two coats with one coat of HK Girl Fast dry top coat. They all dried to a glossy finish but I would still recommend a top coat for longevity.

First up we have Subzero. This is a dark grey and prefect for autumn. Subzero is practically a one coater but I added a second for good measure.

Caramel Latte is a beautiful creamy nude. I normally don't go for nudes as I feel like make my skin tone looked washed out but this is a warmer nude/beige and I really like it.

Lastly we have Alpine Green. This is a stunning dark green with a luxurious finish. It has a shimmery finish which is very had to capture on camera, but trust me it's gorgeous!

I took a macro shot which shows the shimmer in the polish.

My overall thoughts on this brand are good. They are fast drying, have good opacity and don't have a strong smell either. The only thing I would say about them is that the application brush has quite a long stick so make sure you wipe off the excess before application as you could risk flooding your cuticle area.

The polishes retail at £9.50, which may seem a bit steep to some people but this is a very good polish and it's something I think professionals would use too. If you want to take a look at HJ Manicure's website and you fancy placing an order, you can use my code BNAILED25 for 25% off. This is valid until 30.11.15. They also offer free shipping on orders over £20.

What do you think of HJ Manicure? Is it a brand your would try?

Bye for now x
